The new shoutbox is available for preview by clicking the link below the old one or going to /?new_shoutbox

You now have the option of not seeing the file size on torrents during an event lockdown (72hours after the start of a main event)
this can be enabled in "your account" page.

You also have the option of turning off spoilers in the shoutbox, but if you do in the middle tab you will not see the spoilers. (try the new shoutbox before enabling this)

I am also for the imposition of serious penalties for spoiling in the "no spoilers" tab.

Is it possible to have memory on the tabs in the new shoutbox, it keeps popping back to first tab after reloading page? I also prefer the spoiler on.

admin can you make it so when you hit the refresh button can all 3 windows refresh instead of just the one?

There should be more "boxes". Like an "Event box" and maybe even a "Support box". Just a thought....

I think the middle box(shoutbox with spoilers)could cause some confusion for some members.They may not relize they need to use the spoiler button when they post a spoiler in this box

That actually happened last night, a newbie posted a spoiler about the Fedor fight giving away the fight for me and others because he got confused with where to post spoilers or something. Maybe a better idea is to have no spoilers for the 3 days AT ALL, no spoiler forums or shout box.

My vote is remove the middle one completely.Have "no spoilers" & "spoilers"

I agree butchdog. The more options we have, the more confused it makes people. Keep it simple. Spoiler or no spoiler.

Once upon a time i got the boot from an mma torrent site for accidentally spoiling. If i myself were that worried about having a fight spoiled i would stay away from shout boxes. Just my opinion.
