Topic should say BAD BEATS! my bad.

ok starting a topic here to here some stories. Here's my worst i can think of.

278 peep live torny, 35 round tables, been playing well all day get down to the final 5 tables sitting well with a stack around 60Kish,

KK comes raise comes at 10kish with all but one calling it, i re raise to 25K 3 callers. Flop KAK hell yeah what a flop.
Bet 20Kish & all in from 1st to act. re raise to 40k from next position im all IN!!!
Put 1st pos: on straight draw and he turns JQ suited.
second position i put on picture pockets think maybe Q's and slight thought maybe AA, He turns AA all cocky and ready to celebrate (wanker), I turn my Quad K's
4th Street turns a 10, 1st pos. gets he's straight but i got him dominated, River turns "A", (The Sick Feeling sets in) prick hits quad A's to beat my Quad K's. takes down over $170K ish. and see's him to the final table but blows out 9th spot. whats the odds of this play unfolding Quad K's vs Quad A's?

I cant remember the hand clearly cause it was long time ago but was something like this:

Omaha HI,  I had like AdAsTs9d, flop came AhJs8s(so I had top set, flush draw, straight draw). Some guy had KhKs2h2c. Turn was 2s, river 2d.

That one was hard to forget.

Well, basically the worst "bad beat" I remember is when I had 2 pairs after the flop and he didn't have anything, I think he had KJ, and there were 10 at the table, we both went all in, and he got a straight..

That's not a bad beat, DUCY?  KK<AA, the flop was when you sucked out on him.  He re-sucked out on the river, best hand won.

He's hardly a prick, in fact you both played as badly as each other.  There's no way facing someone as bad as you that I ever fold aces full.

Why do I think you played badly?

"KK comes raise comes at 10kish with all but one calling it, i re raise to 25K 3 callers."

So at the table all but one call a 10k pre-flop raise, so your pots ~$90K (depends if fold was made by blinds).  Your 3Bet here sucks so much ass I cant even put it into words.  Its even worse if your shorthand, I'm not getting into why as I doubt its worth explaining.

You 3Bet to $25k, making a total pot of ~$115K and to call you its just another $15K.  Wow, so you give odds of ~7.7:1?  With the pot at ~$90k, KK and a $60k stack the only thing you should be doing is shoving all in.

The priority with KK is to get heads up, or as few callers as possible you utterly failed............the flop was a fluke there are a whole bunch of flops in a 4 way pot that would have killed you (A high, monotone, 3-to a straight, straight/flushing).  The villain who had AA is as bad as you, when you 3Bet he should have shoved.

If you consider this as playing well then its an utter miracle that you made it down to the final five tables.

Wellied is spot on. Ultimately you were going to lose the hand anyway but you and the guy with AA both played the hand really badly.

I once hit a str8 flush vs floped quads (KQ > TT on TT99J), but that doesn't really count coz it was all in preflop. Also I was on a heads up table so no BBJ I don't remember the biggest beat but it was probably some running boat or something

Sick beat story:

I have 88. Flop comes A-8-2 (rainbow). I bet, villain shoves. I call. Turn 9. River 9. Overall, A-8-2-9-9.

Villain shows A9. Pokerstove says 2.222% chance of that happening.

Even, set vs quads (AA vs KK on K-A-K) has better odds than this. 4.444% of that happening.

bad beats... I had them a lot already and I am playing poker for just a few months.

well, a bad beat today at full tilt:

I had AKs

called a raise. everybody else folded.
flop: 3 A 8

I went all in, he called

turned out he had 3 8
