News: Fedor: The UFC’s Terms “Are Not Acceptable”
Fedor crushes all MMA fanboy dreams by snubbing the UFC's awkward attempt to sign The Last Emperor.
Comments
Good for him. I am sorry but this is his life and if he doesn't think that the UFC is giving him a fair deal then why sign? To fight all the top 10 HW's the ufc has? He is doing just fine with out them just like the ufc is doing just fine without him. They will just never have a true heavy weight champion but what ever.

The main two things Fedor wants as stated in the article are; non-exclusive contract that lets his fight other champs in the sport and the second is more his managers and M-1 Global owner Vadim Finkelchtein demand, which is the real thing holding Fedor away from the UFC is co-promotion of events with M-1 Global. There is no gain for the UFC to co-promote with one of their lesser rivals it would only legitimize an organization UFC has been trying to keep down.
But a co-promotion could happen in the way of sponsorship, like (correct me if im wrong)UFC 99 was "Brought to you by TapOut". They could do the same thing with M-1 Global. Another thing the UFC is really afraid of is if they do give Fedor this non-exclusive contract other top fighters are going to want to the same thing. And the UFC cant have any of that.

That's too bad he wants to fight a few fights and then dip? It's his choice ofc but after watching the first two Afflic's there just isn't anyone who is going to give him a real challenge IMO. Oh well would have been nice to see him in the UFC, but I won't lose any sleep over him not being in it.
