News: Dana White making headlines again.

There are two pieces of news I wanted share with you guys, both revolve around our good-ol-pal Dana White, love him or hate him Dana has a good business sense and a knack for making headlines. Here is the first and most interesting piece of news. After UFC 100 Dana White said he wants Fedor in the UFC and he wants him to fight Brock and he wants this to happen soon.

The second piece of news is more entertaining and shows Dana's ruthless drive to monopolize anything and everything MMA. In a totally typical move the president of the UFC has declared war with EA over their announcement of developing their own MMA game.

I cant help but wonder if as a tactical maneuver, White would want to hold off on a superfight (even if he could make it happen) until either:

- Affliction goes down and is no longer a real "threat" so that he doesn't risk boosting the credibility of the competing organisation by handing it to them.

- Emilianenko starts to fade, like let's say Vanderlei Silva vs Chuck Lidell / Rich Franklin, fights people were hoping for 5-6 years ago and got in 2009 when they are shadows of their prime. Sure they deliver, but past expiration date of Champions, I would argue.

As for the games, its a big big pity if EA did in fact not want to do an MMA game and elected to do one of their own WITHOUT the cooperation of UFC. We'll be getting the best MMA game without the familiar faces which would be a huge pity to an avid fan of games like myself. I absolutely love fightnight 3 (didnt get a chance to try 4 yet...)

Randy Couture already signed with EA so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
