It's epic! Hahaha!! What BS, it's shit is what it is. Really dank, really annoying and shitty is what it is. I hear Annie Puke had her pie hole in amongst this somewhere. That explains for some of the shittyness in my humble opinion.

HSP (The early years) - Yes!
The Big Game - Yes!
The Poker Den - Yes!

Epic Poker! - No!

The show is fine. At least it doesn't have Jessie May announcing. It's just poker on tv, which is something we enjoy watching. For that I'm grateful. For all the naysayers, maybe they're just upset they're not good enough to win a spot on the show?

Sure, Jessie May isn't that great either but I'd prefer to listen to him than Ali and that other guy. At least Jessie is slightly funny to listen to and confesses to not knowing much about poker, which I admire. I couldn't get through a single sentence from either of those two commentating on this 'Epic' poker show, it's really painful. I mean, how would Ali and a carbon copy from the American commentator mould, ever be a good choice? It's puzzling to say the least.

sorry to hear it bothered you so much... perhaps you might try turning the video's volume off & putting on some soft classical music... that might help reduce your aggravation factor

or, you could make it more fun... just add a drinking game, anytime the old announcer says "hardwood," you take a swig, it's a hoot!

Your idea to mute the show could be a good idea. It’d work for a while at least, but then you’d get fed of the game and do something else because you’d realise that the show was actually shit, even with the sound muted.

So while this standalone decision to hire these two 'poker experts' aggravates me. It’s not half as annoying when you realise that not only do they continue to make shit shows, they’re even messing with good poker shows.

What they did with HSP for instance, the first great poker show. I loved that until they decapitated all of the enjoyment from it. The poker den was another, but then they had to introduce a voting system. Where'd they get that brilliant idea, Big Brother?! For fuuuck sake. Well, let's just say I didn't agree with that decision either.

So you see it's all of these decisions rolled into one, that’s what I find irritating.

RIP Poker Shows, I’m away to waste my time on something else.

Well, this is the world of television. Some suits in seats deciding what is hot. Their opinons are for ratings only, they're gambling too. Personally, I don't like the WSOP main event's decision to allow your opponents to see your cards on a 15 min delay, I think it destroys the purity of the game. People should have to pay to see your cards. But that's my opinion up against the money behind the show. So I just have to go along with it, but not let it bother me. How much do you love the game? Do you love it more than the bad decisions of a few people? I do.
